HousingX Workshop: The Rural Community of Tomorrow

How to Attract and Retain new Residents, Create Innovative Amenities, and Find the Funding to Pay for it All

For the first time in human history, we don’t need to be tied to a major city for culture, education, entertainment, and business opportunities. The great migration due to economics, climate change, and the pandemic is opening an urgent opportunity for smaller communities to showcase why they are great places to live, work, and play – and an attraction/retention plan is needed. Atlas Community Studios will lead your community, regardless of size, through how to build up your place’s infrastructure, amenities, and housing, and how to pay for it all through public and private partnerships.

Wednesday, May 25th, 10:30am
at HousingX 2022, Newport News, VA
