Housing and Health Study Progresses in Potomac Area

Virtual town halls with residents and stakeholders are helping us understand needs and offer solutions.

We compiled data on housing and health in the Potomac Health Foundation’s service area, as well as one-on-one interviews with experts and stakeholders, to write our first draft of the report. Then, last month, we hosted two virtual town-halls with community members and professionals to discuss our findings.

Based on those conversations, we’re updating the report to highlight specific challenges to housing and health in the area, and to focus on concrete solutions for PHF and their stakeholders.

Later this summer, we’ll work with PHF and other community partners to build out a pilot initiative to begin implementing by year’s end. Stay tuned for the final report and more information on next steps. In the meantime, keep an eye on our Housing & Health Initiative page.
