Carrie has served as the Richmond Field Office Director for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development since 2011. She is responsible for ensuring that all HUD programs are effectively delivered across the Commonwealth providing coordinated opportunities to communities that support community economic development, quality housing, access and affordability.

Previously she served in various capacities at the local, state, and national level with U.S. Department of Agriculture-Rural Development supporting rural communities and small-town community development and housing efforts. Recognizing the critical importance of ending homelessness, Carrie currently serves as HUD’s liaison to the Governor’s Coordinating Council on Homelessness and is a member of the HUD Region III Interagency Council on Homelessness.
